In November 2018 we published our first book – Overheard at Waitrose – not really knowing where this would lead to or what to expect. Selling over 100 copies of the book within the first month, motivated us to keep going.
From the success of Overheard at Waitrose, our first imprint Idiocratea, was born in 2019. We founded it with the vision of making people laugh and creating extraordinary gift books for extraordinary people.
In May 2020, we plunged our feet into a new market with our Gordon Ramsay Coloring book, which has now seen worldwide success and opened up the doors into the American market.
Lemon Tree Coloring, our second imprint and home of our range of sassy, stress-relieving coloring books, came to be in 2020. These books are now a staple in our book catalogue, with thousands of copies sold worldwide.
Wanting to explore new niches, we started publishing notepads and journals in summer 2020.
Mintt, our third imprint, established in summer 2020, houses hundreds of lovingly designed journals and notebooks for all occasions and ages - many of them personalised.
Mazes for Minecrafters was our first release of 2021 and the start of our deep dive into educational activity books for children.
Our Bytesize imprint was established with the vision of making learning for children more fun and interesting. We have first-hand experience with the struggles of learning disabilities, as one of our founders suffers from ADD and dyslexia – which is the driving force behind this imprint.
Following the worldwide success of our books, we decided to finally take the plunge in February 2021 and merge all our imprints into the publishing company we are today: Polygon Publishing LTD.
